DaimlerChrysler Neon 2000 Fascias

The fascia shown above in front and rear views is molded from an Ionomer alloy (50% Ionomer, 50% Nylon 6) that requires no post molding finishing operations. The material, which is available in red, white, and black matches the color and gloss of the painted body.  This resulted in a savings of $12 per vehicle and an additional $20 in savings was achieved by contiguous molding at assembly center.
